Application Tips: Get That Salon-Perfect Finish

Here’s how to make your vibrant vision come to life:

  1. Pre-lighten your hair : For the boldest colours, you need to start with a light base. Use our High Lift Bleaching Kit to get there. If your hair's dark, it might take a few sessions, but trust us, it's worth it.
  2. Do a strand test : Always test a small section to make sure you love the colour (and to avoid any surprises!).
  3. Protect your space : Dyeing at home can get messy! Cover surfaces and wear old clothes. We always recommend using disposable gloves, so your hands won't be stained with colour. Use a dark towel for your hair after dyeing to prevent any colour transfer, especially when you are using deeper shades!
  4. Apply evenly : Clip your hair into sections. Trust us, it makes everything easier. We have the perfect Kit for you to get this just right! It also includes a mixing bowl and brushes for perfect application! Coat each section from roots to tips. Make sure every strand is drenched in colour!
  5. Wait it out : Leave the dye on for 15-30 minutes. The longer, the better for vibrancy!
  6. Rinse with cool water : This helps seal the colour in and keeps it looking bright longer.
